Their caregivers describe them as close friends who truly enjoy being together. Eric and Adrian have faced difficult challenges in their young lives and are ready to be matched with their forever family – one that can provide them with unconditional love and support.

Meet Eric

Eric is 7 years old. He is enrolled in school and is currently transitioning between grades. He is currently learning to read and write and is focused on acquiring these important skills. His favorite subject in school is art. Eric is described as a social and affectionate young boy who listens to his caregivers and loves to spend time with his big brother. As his caregivers recently shared: “(Eric) has internal strengths that allow him to be resilient to adversities today and in the future. He wants to be in a loving, protective environment, with a family and of course with his older brother, who he loves and helps within his means.”

Meet Adrian

Adrian is 10 years old and is currently enrolled in first grade, where he enjoys participating in activities such as art & dance. Adrian presents delays in his language & expressive development and has been diagnosed with a specified learning disorder. In school, he is working hard to strengthen his understanding of every day and non-everyday vocabulary.

Adrian is described as a sensitive young boy. He is affectionate and loving, but sometimes has difficulty expressing his feelings verbally, which can cause him to get frustrated with those around him or become quite shy. However, with the support and encouragement of his caregivers, he is learning little by little to form healthy and loving relationships, which will only be strengthened with a forever family.  As his caregivers recently reflected: (Adrian) is a loving child who needs to be with his brother and with an empathic  family who has dreamed and planned for him…who will receive him with great love, understanding, and accompany him in what he needs most: to feel loved and protected.”

Eric and Adrian are ready to meet their forever families and are ready to be matched immediately! To learn more about Eric & Adrian, contact our Adoption Team at 212-400-8150 or email us at info@spence-chapin.org.
