Meet Isabella, a sweet 8-year-old girl living in a foster home in Colombia. Her caregivers have shared that Isabella is a very special child – cheerful, energetic, and affectionate. Isabella tends to be shy when meeting new people at first, but once she feels comfortable, is able to open up and give and receive affection.
Isabella has experienced some tough starts in her young life and is currently being cared for by a foster mother. Isabella has allowed her foster mother to provide her with a safe and loving environment, which in-turn has allowed Isabella to establish trusting and empathetic relationships with the members of the foster family. It is reported that Isabella shows joy when she is with her foster family and enjoys going on trips with them.
Isabella is currently in second grade where her teachers describe her as a cheerful girl who takes pride in her schoolwork and activities. Isabella aspires to be a vet as she enjoys being surrounded by animals and going out to the farm with her foster family.
Isabella has been diagnosed with a language disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) which are currently managed with medication and therapies such as speech therapy and counseling. Her therapists and caregivers have shared that Isabella shows enormous potential for learning in a loving, caring, and protective family environment that allows her to express her emotions. She is ready to be matched with a family immediately! To learn more about Isabella, contact our Adoption Team at 212-400-8150 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
