We are looking for a loving, permanent family for sweet Nicolas.  Nicolas is 9 years old and has been living in foster care since December 2011.  Nicolas is an outgoing little boy who aspires to be a police officer or firefighter.

Nicolas has been living with his current foster mother since February 2018 who he has allowed himself to bond to and views as his main protective figure.  Nicolas enjoys learning at school and is currently transitioning between grades.  He is slightly behind his peers academically and receives speech therapy services to strengthen his academics.

Nicolas has been diagnosed with normocytic anemia (low red blood count), and epidermolysis bullosa (blistering of the skin and mucous membranes).  Nicolas meets with a pediatric oncologist regularly to manage his diagnosis of epidermolysis bullosa.

Nicolas enjoys participating in school activities, board games, bowling, and listening to music.  He is ready to be matched with an encouraging, loving, and supportive family.  If you think you could be the forever family for Nicolas, contact our Adoption Team at 212-400-8150 or email us at info@spence-chapin.org.
