Para garantizar la colocaci\u00f3n exitosa de ni\u00f1os mayores y grupos de hermanos, es fundamental que todos los profesionales involucrados en el proceso de adopci\u00f3n est\u00e9n informados por las mejores investigaciones actuales y todos trabajen seg\u00fan el mismo paradigma para maximizar el \u00e9xito. Los trabajadores sociales autorizados por Spence-Chapin viajaron a Bogot\u00e1, Colombia, a finales de septiembre para entrenamientos actuales<\/span><\/a> <\/span>al personal del Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar\/Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar (ICBF) y a los defensores colombianos del bienestar infantil que son clave para facilitar la adopci\u00f3n nacional o internacional de ni\u00f1os mayores y grupos de hermanos. La capacitaci\u00f3n se centr\u00f3 en maximizar el \u00e9xito potencial de la colocaci\u00f3n de ni\u00f1os mayores y la adopci\u00f3n de hermanos.<\/p>\n

Los ni\u00f1os en edad escolar, aquellos que tienen 8 a\u00f1os o m\u00e1s en el momento de su colocaci\u00f3n, son la poblaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s representada en los orfanatos de todo el mundo. Sin embargo, los temores, las inc\u00f3gnitas y los mitos que rodean la adopci\u00f3n de ni\u00f1os mayores desalientan a muchos futuros padres a explorar esta opci\u00f3n. Actualmente, cerca de 8.000 ni\u00f1os en Colombia<\/span><\/a><\/span>, de 10 a\u00f1os en adelante, est\u00e1n esperando una familia.<\/p>\n

Los profesionales involucrados en el proceso de adopci\u00f3n tienen un papel importante en la preparaci\u00f3n del ni\u00f1o y de las personas involucradas con el ni\u00f1o antes de que sea adoptado. El grado en que el ni\u00f1o est\u00e1 preparado para la adopci\u00f3n tiene un impacto significativo en facilitar la transici\u00f3n y maximizar la incorporaci\u00f3n exitosa a la familia<\/span><\/a><\/span>. Se ha descubierto que el uso de recursos y estrategias disponibles basados en los niveles de desarrollo del ni\u00f1o y la comprensi\u00f3n psicol\u00f3gica actual sobre el apego tiene \u00e9xito para aliviar las ansiedades del ni\u00f1o, minimizar el estr\u00e9s asociado con el cambio y maximizar la incorporaci\u00f3n a una nueva familia.<\/p>\n

El Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar (ICBF)<\/span><\/a>,<\/span> creada en 1968, brinda servicios de atenci\u00f3n a ni\u00f1os, ni\u00f1as, adolescentes y familias, especialmente aquellos en situaci\u00f3n de amenaza, insolvencia o vulneraci\u00f3n de sus derechos, y es la autoridad central en materia de adopciones en Colombia.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
