Es una de las celebraciones m\u00e1s sagradas del Islam, honrada con adoraci\u00f3n, oraci\u00f3n y ayuno. Este a\u00f1o, el Ramad\u00e1n comenzar\u00e1 al atardecer del viernes, d\u00eda <strong>20 de julio<\/strong> y continuar\u00e1 durante 30 d\u00edas hasta el s\u00e1bado, el <strong>18 de agosto<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>El ayuno, llamado Sawmn, durante el mes de Ramad\u00e1n es uno de los cinco pilares del Islam. El mes se pasa ayunando durante las horas del d\u00eda entre el amanecer y el atardecer, y luego rompiendo el ayuno con una comida ritual llamada Iftar. <a href=\"https:\/\/spence-chapin.org\/es\/adoption-programs\/countries\/b2_morocco.php\/\">Ni\u00f1os<\/a> permanecen exentos del ayuno durante el Ramad\u00e1n hasta que llegan a la preadolescencia, pero disfrutan participando en la reflexi\u00f3n, la adoraci\u00f3n y las celebraciones, que tambi\u00e9n son partes importantes del Ramad\u00e1n.<\/p>\n<p>Las familias comienzan sus comidas Iftar comiendo d\u00e1tiles dulces y pasteles con miel antes de recitar la oraci\u00f3n del Magreb, luego comen y comparten con otras familias y amigos. Si bien el ayuno puede parecer miserable para algunos de nosotros, los musulmanes tienen una perspectiva muy positiva y est\u00e1n agradecidos por las bendiciones en la vida al reflexionar sobre aquellos que tal vez no tengan las cosas que ellos tienen.<\/p>\n<p>Este mes es un tiempo de renovaci\u00f3n, autorreflexi\u00f3n y devoci\u00f3n a Dios. Los musulmanes utilizan este tiempo para fortalecer su conexi\u00f3n con Dios y el Islam, a trav\u00e9s de la oraci\u00f3n diaria y la recitaci\u00f3n del Cor\u00e1n, as\u00ed como con sus familias y comunidad.
