{"id":7065,"date":"2012-05-24T07:41:48","date_gmt":"2012-05-23T19:41:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/spence-chapin.org\/blog-news_and_events-obamas-for-gay-marriage-but-whats-next\/"},"modified":"2020-01-08T07:12:45","modified_gmt":"2020-01-07T19:12:45","slug":"obama-a-favor-del-matrimonio-homosexual-pero-que-sigue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spence-chapin.org\/es\/obamas-for-gay-marriage-but-whats-next\/","title":{"rendered":"Obama est\u00e1 a favor del matrimonio entre personas del mismo sexo, pero \u00bfqu\u00e9 sigue?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hace casi dos semanas, el Presidente Obama comparti\u00f3 su firme posici\u00f3n sobre el matrimonio entre personas del mismo sexo en Estados Unidos. \u00c9l est\u00e1 a favor.<br \/>\nVarias publicaciones elogiaron sus esfuerzos por adoptar una postura clara sobre el tema candente, pero una vez que hizo su declaraci\u00f3n, surgieron muchas preguntas. \u00bfC\u00f3mo y cu\u00e1ndo el resto del pa\u00eds seguir\u00e1 el ejemplo del presidente? \u00bfQu\u00e9 protecciones y derechos tendr\u00e1n las parejas del mismo sexo en comparaci\u00f3n con las parejas casadas?  \u00bfDebemos se\u00f1alar una diferencia entre los matrimonios entre personas del mismo sexo y los heterosexuales?<\/p>\n<p>Por supuesto, en Spence-Chapin nos preguntamos qu\u00e9 significa esto para nuestras parejas LGBT que quieren adoptar ni\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>Hace menos de un a\u00f1o, el estado de Nueva York aprob\u00f3 la Ley de Igualdad en el Matrimonio para legalizar los matrimonios entre personas del mismo sexo dentro del estado. Nueva Jersey ha otorgado uniones civiles a parejas del mismo sexo desde 2006, otorg\u00e1ndoles los mismos derechos legales que a las parejas casadas heterosexuales y al mismo tiempo reserv\u00e1ndose el t\u00edtulo de &quot;matrimonio&quot;.  Como forma de matrimonio LGBT, la tolerancia a la adopci\u00f3n LGBT tambi\u00e9n se considera un derecho del Estado, lo que permite a cualquier estado de la uni\u00f3n el poder de prohibir la adopci\u00f3n a parejas LGBT.<\/p>\n<p>Afortunadamente, Nueva York y Nueva Jersey no se encuentran entre los estados que est\u00e1n en contra de la adopci\u00f3n LGBT y, de hecho, ambos estados la legalizan expl\u00edcitamente en sus constituciones. Imag\u00ednese todos los hogares amorosos que se podr\u00edan brindar a los ni\u00f1os necesitados.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, esa no es la realidad, y todav\u00eda existen prejuicios que impiden que las parejas capaces y amorosas adopten. Pero aqu\u00ed est\u00e1 la verdad del asunto: despu\u00e9s de tener en cuenta los datos sobre educaci\u00f3n, empleo, propiedad de vivienda y estabilidad residencial del censo de 2000, los reporteros federales concluyeron que \u201clas parejas del mismo sexo presentan muchas de las cualidades positivas que crear\u00edan un hogar adecuado para ni\u00f1os que necesitan ser adoptados. \u2026revisi\u00f3n de hallazgos de investigaciones anteriores <strong>no hay diferencias notables entre los ni\u00f1os de hogares de padres heterosexuales y los de hogares de padres lesbianas y gays<\/strong>.\u201d Es evidente que muchas parejas tienen el deseo y la capacidad de cuidar adecuadamente a los ni\u00f1os que lo necesitan; sin embargo, todav\u00eda existen leyes restrictivas en aras de los derechos del Estado y de la intolerancia.<\/p>\n<p>A lo largo de los 235 a\u00f1os de historia de Estados Unidos, hemos luchado contra diferentes formas de discriminaci\u00f3n muchas veces y de muchas maneras diferentes.
