Despu\u00e9s de dar a luz a dos ni\u00f1as, comenzaron el proceso de ampliar su familia. Ahora son padres de 12 ni\u00f1os incre\u00edbles; 4 biol\u00f3gicos y 8 por adopci\u00f3n!<\/p>\n<p style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Algunos de sus hijos tienen dificultades de aprendizaje y necesitan ayuda adicional, pero en su mayor parte nunca hab\u00edan pensado en criar a un ni\u00f1o con necesidades especiales. Sin embargo, en el verano de 2012, se enteraron de que un beb\u00e9 iba a nacer con discapacidades graves. Sab\u00edan en el fondo de su coraz\u00f3n que estaba destinado a unirse a su familia. Un d\u00eda despu\u00e9s de que su familia fuera seleccionada por la primera madre biol\u00f3gica, les dijeron que hab\u00eda nacido su beb\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Su dulce beb\u00e9 solo vivir\u00eda 3 meses antes de fallecer. Durante su corta vida, sufri\u00f3 muchas cirug\u00edas y procedimientos m\u00e9dicos. El cuidado de este beb\u00e9 inculc\u00f3 en los corazones de Scott y Tari el deseo de adoptar otro ni\u00f1o que pudiera tener necesidades especiales. A medida que sus corazones rotos comenzaron a sanar, una vez m\u00e1s comenzaron el proceso de adopci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Tari encontr\u00f3 el sitio web de Spence-Chapin y vio nuestro programa para <a href=\"https:\/\/spence-chapin.org\/es\/adoption-programs\/b1h_special_needs.php\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">adopci\u00f3n para necesidades especiales<\/a>. En la p\u00e1gina de ni\u00f1os en espera estaba Olivia, una ni\u00f1a con discapacidades m\u00e9dicas graves que necesitaba una familia que pudiera cuidarla adecuadamente. Despu\u00e9s de discutirlo con Scott, comenzaron el proceso de solicitud y el invierno pasado trajeron a Olivia a casa.
