Durante aproximadamente un mes despu\u00e9s de que regresamos a casa, \u00e9l todav\u00eda prefer\u00eda a mi esposo. Ella nos dijo desde el principio que yo necesitaba ser la cuidadora principal durante el proceso de vinculaci\u00f3n, pero que realmente necesitaba mejorar mi juego ahora. Mientras le daba biber\u00f3n, le ofrec\u00eda juguetes coloc\u00e1ndolos frente a mis ojos para fomentar el contacto visual. Disfrutaba mecerlo antes de acostarme y cantarle, especialmente cuando empezaba a cantar &quot;arriba sobre el mundo tan alto&quot; de Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. Al menos sab\u00eda que estaba escuchando.<\/p>\n<p>Cuatro meses despu\u00e9s la gente nos pregunta si estamos adaptados. Mi respuesta siempre es &quot;no&quot;. Miro hacia atr\u00e1s y siento que hemos progresado, pero tambi\u00e9n s\u00e9 que nos queda camino por recorrer. Nuestro hijo ha sustituido el frotamiento de la cara por el de los brazos. Tiene que hacer esto cuando se queda dormido por la noche y se despierta varias veces por la noche gimiendo\/llorando y alcanza mi brazo a trav\u00e9s de los barrotes de su cuna. Sigo en su habitaci\u00f3n despu\u00e9s de cuatro meses. Nuestro trabajador social dijo que esto podr\u00eda tardar aproximadamente un a\u00f1o en adaptarse por completo. Ella dijo que \u00e9l est\u00e1 vinculado, pero tiene miedo de que nos vayamos, as\u00ed que se despierta y se asegura de que estemos all\u00ed. \u00a1\u00a1\u00a1Me rompe el coraz\u00f3n que mi ni\u00f1o peque\u00f1o, mientras duerme, se despierte y se asegure de que todav\u00eda estamos all\u00ed y no lo hemos dejado!!! Ahora nos mira a los dos a los ojos y jugar\u00e1 solo m\u00e1s tiempo que antes. Todav\u00eda hay momentos en los que llora y hace un ataque para que lo carguen o nos agarren del brazo. La parte dif\u00edcil es distinguir entre cuando es apenas un ni\u00f1o peque\u00f1o y cuando est\u00e1 lidiando con una p\u00e9rdida.<\/p>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s de tres meses de estar en casa con \u00e9l, mi marido y yo hemos vuelto a trabajar y ahora lo dejamos en casa de un amigo tres d\u00edas a la semana. Esta transici\u00f3n le ha ido bien. Por lo general, llora un poco cuando me voy, pero ella dijo que cuando llego a mi auto, se detiene. Cuando mi esposo lo recoja, lo saludar\u00e1 pero luego volver\u00e1 a jugar para que sepamos que se siente c\u00f3modo all\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>En general, estoy muy contento con c\u00f3mo han ido las cosas. Estamos muy felices de que nuestro hijo haya tenido una madre adoptiva tan cari\u00f1osa que lo cuid\u00f3 tan bien durante un a\u00f1o. Cuando lo piensas bien, nuestros cuatro meses son una fracci\u00f3n de lo que cuatro meses significan para \u00e9l. Es muy inteligente y aprende palabras, lenguaje de se\u00f1as e interact\u00faa bien con los dem\u00e1s. Est\u00e1 apegado a nosotros, s\u00f3lo tiene miedo de que lo dejemos.
