Joel and Micah are brothers who live together in a foster home in Colombia. They are well bonded with each other and Micah states that when they are grown-up they will still live together. Both boys are doing well in school after not having regular attendance before coming into care. Joel prefers Art while Micah’s favorite subject is Math.
These close siblings enjoy riding their bikes and playing outside and are dreaming of finding their forever family together. They have faced adversity in their young lives and will need an adoptive family who can provide them with love, affection and access to therapeutic supports in order for them to realize their full potential.
Siblings like Joel and Micah who are considered ‘Waiting Children’ generally have multi-faceted characteristics and needs which exceed the common characteristics and needs of children otherwise placed in one of our international programs.
