We have been together for ten years, and married for just over one. We met at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill while studying theatre (Nathaniel as a Graduate student and Jack as an Undergraduate). We both work in the entertainment industry (mostly theatre and film), and found our creative home in New York City. Jack is an actor and writer who also runs his own social media business. Nathaniel is an actor, director, and educator who works both internationally and nationally. We both love to travel, try new foods, and go to the theatre. We come from close knit families spread across North Carolina, Maryland, and New York City who we visit as often as we are able. Additionally, we have extended family as far as the Philippines and Australia!
We have always wanted to be fathers independent of each other, and we decided this was the perfect time to grow our family. We are both grounded in our careers and are at a point where we are able to welcome a child into a safe, nurturing and loving home.

Our Life
Hello, we are Nathaniel and Jack! We enjoy going to the theatre and other cultural events as often as possible as well as discovering new restaurants in New York City either with each other or with friends. When we need a break from the city we enjoy driving upstate, usually to Narrowsburg where we were married, or taking a quick flight or train to visit our parents in North Carolina or Maryland. We also enjoy cooking, either trying new recipes or cooking favorite standards like chicken adobo, and spending some time relaxing on the couch with a book or catching up on a television series. We also love planning at least one international trip a year – we’ve been as far away as Australia and as close as Canada and Mexico! We absolutely love to travel.
Our Family
Jack’s parents Jim and Lynn live in Charlotte, North Carolina, along with his brother Jamie. His sister Lindsey lives in Brooklyn near Prospect Park. Nathaniel’s parents Melba and Manny live just outside of Washington, DC in Silver Spring, Maryland. His sister Tatiana lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Since both of our sister’s live in New York City with their partners, we see them often, either for dinner, theatre outings, museum dates, or hanging out in either Prospect Park or Central Park. We also have a diverse friend group spread across the globe that we make the time to connect with, either virtually, or when we are lucky, in person.
