We are a fun, loving, newly married couple who want to welcome a child into our lives. We have dreamt of becoming parents together and bringing a child into our home and family. We met in 2020 and had an instant connection. We both feel that we are each other’s soul mates and meant to be. When we began our relationship and started to discuss our hopes and plans for the future, we agreed that the most important thing we wanted in our lives was to have a family of our own. We both work full-time jobs and will be able to support and provide for our child comfortably. Kevin is a machine operator, and Marissa is an elementary school teacher. We will love our child unconditionally and always respect their feelings, making them feel seen and heard. We both come from loving, supportive big families who are all more than excited to welcome our child. We believe adoption is such a blessing and feel so fortunate and grateful to be part of this journey.

Fun Fact: Marissa has wanted to be a teacher since she was a very little girl. She used to set up her play furniture as a classroom and have her brother and neighborhood friends be her students. She even asked for a printer as a gift when she was young, so she could write stories and make pretend homework for her “students”. Fast forward to now, she is living her childhood dreams of being an elementary school teacher.

Fun Fact: Kevin loves to laugh and go to comedy shows. Kevin writes down everyday adventures and funny things he experiences, hoping one day to try an open mic night at a comedy show. Until then, he lives a life with laughter and positivity.
Nuestras vidas
We would describe our life as very blessed, loving, fun, and happy. We are surrounded by all our family and friends who live just a few minutes away from us. Our neighborhood is family-friendly, filled with children of all ages. Marissa is an elementary school teacher, and Kevin is a machine operator. We enjoy going for breakfast on the weekends, spending time in our backyard, going for walks, and spending time with family, which we are looking forward to including our child. If we are not outside being active, we love snuggling up watching movies and cooking homemade meals together. Both sides of our families are extremely close, where we all spend holidays together. We have holiday traditions together that we are looking forward to including our child in. We dream every day of including our child in our lives and are so excited for what the future holds on this journey.
Nuestra Familia
Both of us are extremely lucky, as we have all our family and friends living within just a few minutes of us. We both have our parents, who are extremely supportive of our adoption journey. Kevin has 2 brothers, their wives, and 3 nephews. Marissa has a brother as well. Both of our families are extremely close to each other. Both sides celebrate holidays together, and we are so excited to include our child in all our big family holiday traditions. We love to watch sports together with our family and friends, especially the Thanksgiving Dallas Cowboys, as Kevin’s side are die-hard Cowboys fans. We have a huge support system of friends and family who are so excited for our adoption journey and have open arms for our child.
