Tim & Utaukwa

Hi, we’re The Allens! We’ve been married for 23 years and have built a family based on love, laughter, and purpose. We’re so grateful you’re taking a moment to get to know us.

We live in Brooklyn with our two children, Titus and Genesis, who fill our home with curiosity, creativity, and endless energy. Our days are filled with family bike rides, cooking together, and exploring the city’s museums, parks, and hidden gems. Family has always been at the heart of who we are. We both come from families that taught us the importance of belonging, showing up for one another, and celebrating what makes each person unique. We see adoption as a beautiful way to grow our family and share our love, stability, and sense of adventure with another child.

As parents, we believe in nurturing confidence, joy, and connection. We hope to create a life filled with laughter, learning, and unconditional love. We admire the courage and care it takes to make an adoption plan and are deeply honored to be considered part of your journey.

Nuestras vidas

Our life is active, warm, and full of togetherness. Weekdays include school drop-offs, work, homework at the kitchen counter, and family dinners where everyone shares their day. Weekends are for park adventures, playdates, family movie nights, building projects, and spontaneous trips for ice cream.

We value balance, structure, and fun. Our kids are surrounded by encouragement to explore who they are and what excites them. A child joining our family would grow up in a home that blends creativity, learning, laughter, and lots of joy.

Nuestra Familia

We are close with our immediate and extended family, and our children are surrounded by loving grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends who feel like family. Holidays are big, joyful gatherings filled with food, storytelling, and traditions that keep growing each year.

Our children already have a wide circle of kids in their lives through school, neighborhood friendships, and family connections. A new child would be welcomed with excitement, protection, and pride by everyone in our community. Family to us is not just who you are related to, but who shows up for you with consistency and love.

Reflexiones finales

Thank you for taking the time to read about our family. It would be a joy and an honor to welcome a new member to our family. We approach this journey with open hearts and deep respect, and we hope to build a loving, connected relationship through adoption.
