Join us for breakfast to learn more about volunteer opportunities with Spence-Chapin’s Interim Care Program, hosted by Phillips-Lytle. The Programa de atención provisional is designed to give newborns a safe and nurturing place to go while their birth parents receive counseling and support to consider their options and make a plan for their child, which may include parenting, kinship care, or adoption.
Folks who are interested in learning more about our program can email our team at [email protected]. Applicants will have the opportunity to interview with Spence-Chapin staff, and receive training on newborn care, roles and expectations, and other needs of the children. All types of households can apply, including married or unmarried couples, single persons, LGBTQIA+ persons, and parenting or empty-nest households.
If you’re not able to make it in-person but would like to join virtually, please reach out to Gabriela Brooks at [email protected] and she will send you the Zoom link.
