Dax enjoys riding his bike, playing with modeling clay, and any sport involving a ball. He is described as an affectionate child and is well-bonded with his foster mother. His development is considered on target with his chronological age in all areas. Dax does struggle with some behaviors, especially in school and peer settings, and will benefit from consistency and emotional support.
Children like Dax, who are considered ‘waiting children’, generally have multi-faceted characteristics and needs which exceed the common characteristics and needs of children otherwise placed in one of our international programs. We are looking for the right family for waiting children because of their unique needs and vulnerabilities.
