Join Spence-Chapin staff members and fellow adoptive parents along with adoptee voices for an open discussion about adoption, race and identity. Our conversation will focus on having discussions about racism with you extended family and how to navigate the upcoming holiday season as a multiracial family. This event is for adoptive parents and prospective adoptive parents. It will take place via Zoom and will be a facilitated group-based discussion.
Registration is required and the fee for this event is $20 per individual or per couple.
Featured Guest: Rebecca Fiore
Rebecca Fiore is a licensed social worker who was adopted on her first birthday from Paraguay. She grew up in the New York City metro area and has a passion for working with children.

Raven Bowie, LMSW
Raven is a home study, post-placement, and mental health social worker with Spence-Chapin. She was born into an adoptive family and has an older sister who is a domestic adoptee.
Leslie Hampson, LMSW
Leslie is a social worker and therapist at Spence-Chapin. She has worked with all members of the adoption constellation throughout her career.
