This virtual group will offer single adoptive parents an opportunity to form community as they share their parenting stories and receive valuable feedback. We will have frank and open dialogue about the unique challenges and joys associated with single parenthood. Join us and find a community to support you! Please join us for one session or the whole series!
Facilitated by Tasha Blaine, LMSW and Krystal Diaz, MSW Candidate.
I’m a therapist at Spence-Chapin, and I also work with the team to help people complete the home study process. I have extensive experience working with families in adoption as well as birth parents. I approach my work with humor and curiosity, using an attachment-based lens. In these times of increasing isolation and uncertainty, I believe community is more important than ever. I look forward to meeting you!
Krystal Diaz, MSW Candidate I am the Coordinator within the Pre and Post Adoption Services department helping families with the documentation needed for the home study process. I am currently working towards obtaining my MSW. I’m excited to be co-facilitating this group with Tasha as I believe everyone benefits when they’re a part of a community and I know that we can build one here. I am excited to meet you all!
