Black History Month: African Dance Workshop

With this year’s Black History Month theme being “African Americans and the Arts,” Spence-Chapin is proud to host an African Dance Class led by the iconic Maguette Camara.

Join us in celebrating Black culture by learning an authentic African Dance during this social and community-building workshop.

All are welcome to this free event, please RSVP below to save your spot!

This dance workshop is geared towards children and teens. Space is limited to 30 participants.

Maguette is a globally recognized West African dancer, choreographer, teacher, and drummer based in New York City. He has performed workshops worldwide and in impressive venues such as the Guggenheim Museum while getting praise from The New York Times, The Root TV, Dance Teacher Magazine, The New York Public Library, and more!
