Thursday, March 5; Thursday, April 16; and Thursday, May 7
You’re invited to join our first-ever Virtual Book Club!
Designed for adoptive, foster, and waiting parents, the book club will offer a safe and welcoming space for connection, reflection, and conversation. Participants will have the opportunity to share personal experiences, explore the themes of the book, and discuss practical ways to navigate parenting with honesty.
While each of our families’ stories are unique, we share a responsibility to communicate truthfully with our children in ways that promote healing.
This book details how to communicate effectively around difficult topics, offering concrete strategies to help adopted and foster children make sense of the past so they can enjoy a healthy, well-adjusted future. It was chosen for both its emotional nuance and its tangible strategies, so we can leave the book club with helpful insights!
The group runs once a month from March to May and is priced at $80 for all three sessions. Pricing is per family/household (not per person). We highly encourage consistent participation throughout the entire series so you can get the most out of the group. Those interested can register per session for the first two sessions individually for $30/each. If cost is a barrier to joining this group, please reach out and let us know.
