  •  January 22, 2024
     7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Monthly virtual parent group for parents of teen adoptees hosted by Olivia Hornik, Social Work intern at Spence-Chapin. This group will meet once monthly via Zoom and is ONLY for parents of adopted children ages 13-18. In this space, parents have an opportunity to reflect on what they are navigating at home and within their family, while growing community with other families who “just get it”. In this group, we will discuss topics such as talking about adoption with your child, advocating for your child, the transition for your child into higher education and the professional world, relationships, and more.

For those NOT already enrolled in Community Programming at Spence-Chapin the fee is $30 per family, per session. For more information about these groups, please email [email protected].

This space will be held from 7:00pm – 8:30pm EST via Zoom on the following dates:

Monday February 12th, 2024

Tuesday March 5th, 2024
