This virtual 5-week support group is for adoptees ages 18-30 who are actively in the process of searching for or reuniting with their birth families.

The group will provide space to explore the unique feelings and challenges associated with searching and reuniting with birth families. Topics will include navigating conflicting feelings, boundaries, expectations and more. Join us and find a community to support you through your process! This event will be facilitated virtually via Zoom; registration is required and the fee for this event is $20 for the series.

Meet the facilitator:

Kelsey Ritter, MSW Candidate

Kelsey is currently a MSW Intern at Spence-Chapin, in the Pre and Post Adoption Services department, and is working toward obtaining her Masters at Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. Kelsey believes cultivating a community can provide support and knowledge for adoptees navigating the search and reunion processes and looks forward to facilitating this group.
