Allison & Courtney

allison courtney ft

We’re Allison, Courtney, and Hudson! We believe it is every person’s purpose in life to give and receive love. We also have a strong belief that family comes in many forms and can be found in different ways. These are two of the many reasons we are excited to further expand our family through adoption! Allison and Courtney met in church and were together for 5 years before getting married in 2024. Soon after getting married, we were blessed to welcome Hudson into our family through adoption with Spence-Chapin, and becoming parents has been our greatest adventure yet! Allison is a special education teacher and Courtney works in administration for a school district and coaches basketball across several age groups. We both love working with and having children, and we can’t wait to welcome another one into our family!

Our Lives

We like to consider ourselves curious and fun-loving! On weekends, we enjoy long walks on the trail near our house, trips to the park or beach, exploring new coffee shops and restaurants, library visits, and spending time with family and friends. We love seeing the world through Hudson’s eyes and watching him experience new things, whether it’s a butterfly landing on a flower or conquering the slide at a playground. Our home is also filled with the company of our two friendly cats, Oliver and Serena. Our house is a close walk to the beach, and in the spring and summer we love to spend time outside either sitting in the sand or hanging out in our backyard. We also enjoy exploring the city and consider our proximity to NYC to be the best of both worlds. We can’t wait to share these everyday family adventures with another child!

Our Family

Courtney’s immediate family lives in/around Bayonne, NJ and they are a big part of our support system. She is one of five siblings, and she has nieces and nephews ranging from one-year old to 18-years old. There is no shortage of laughs and activities when we all get together! Allison’s immediate family lives in Pennsylvania, but the distance doesn’t stop us from visiting with them often and enjoying a close relationship. One of Allison’s brothers has two young daughters, and Hudson loves spending time with his cousins on both sides. We also have a close-knit community of chosen family who all live within a five-minute drive from our house. Several of these families also have young children through fostering or adoption, and we’re grateful that Hudson and our future child will get to grow up with friends who are also adopted.

Final Thoughts

“Thank you for your thoughtful consideration! We are deeply honored, blessed, and grateful.”
