Our team just returned from a powerful trip to Colombia, where the Granny Program makes an impact on children’s lives every day.
During our visit, one of the children’s homes worked on an art project where children and their Grannies painted beautiful works of art together. As a special thank you for supporting the work of Spence-Chapin, we are gifting limited edition mugs that display their incredible artwork, along with a bag of 100% Colombian specialty coffee.

This year we are dedicating Giving Tuesday to our Granny Program.Â
The Granny Program pairs trained local caregivers, or “Grannies,” to children living in institutionalized care to spend one-on-one time with the same child each day to support their development, teach trust and love, and give them the care they need.
This year, more than 520 children received love and care from Grannies in South Africa and Colombia. In the new year, we plan to open even more programs to support more children in 2025.
