Parenting Adopted Teens: Identity Day

  •  March 11, 2021
     5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

In a group activity we will talk about the complexities and ever-changing landscape of our identity.

Our group promotes open discussions with panelists or guests who join each month. We encourage open-ness and always give time for adoptive parents to discuss the topics in the group setting. Mentors who work with the kids participate in discussions and share their experience as adoptees and as mentors within the program. This group is facilitated by Jessica M. Luciere, one of the founding mentors of the Spence Chapin Mentorship program, and an international and transracial adoptee and Mark Lacava, LCSW-R the Chief Officer at Spence- Chapin’s Pre & Post Adoption Services.

This event will be facilitated virtually; register below to receive the Zoom link.

The fee for this event is $75 (per individual or per couple). Participation in this event is included in the Mentorship Program fee for parents whose teen is participating in Spence-Chapin’s Mentorship Program

We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.
