Bridget & Eric

We are Bridget and Eric. We met on 7/7/07 (the luckiest day of the decade!) at a wedding. We were married in 2014, bought our apartment in 2015 and are excited to expand our family through adoption. We live in Jackson Heights, Queens with our two cats, Archie and Daphne. Eric’s mom, aunt, and cousins live a few hours away in Massachusetts and we are sure to visit throughout the year. Bridget’s mom lives just across the east river in Manhattan and we spend time together regularly on the weekends. Bridget’s aunt, uncle, and cousins (and their many kids) live on Long Island and we enjoy spending time together in her aunt’s backyard. Eric’s sister lives in Belgium with her husband and two young children who we Skype with regularly and visit with at least once a year. Both of our families are thrilled to welcome a new baby into the family!

Our Lives

While we love our quiet time at home, we also appreciate and like to take advantage of everything the city has to offer. We enjoy trying new restaurants, visiting museums and biking, picnicking and throwing a Frisbee at the park. Our lives are very full and the only thing that would make them better would be having a child to share it all with. We live close to the New York Hall of Science and the Queens Zoo and imagine these being favorite weekend destinations. Eric enjoys snowboarding and can’t wait to teach his son or daughter. We have so much love to share and promise to give your child a home full of joy and fun.

Our Family

Our family and friends are very important to us and they are certain to be involved in our life events both big and small. We enjoy gathering for meals during the holidays, having BBQ’s in the summer and celebrating important milestones together. We can’t wait to watch our child play, explore and grow with the other young children in our family and everyone is beyond thrilled to welcome him/her into our family.

Final Thoughts

“Thank you so much for taking the time to read about us and getting to know us a little bit. We would love to meet you and we would be honored if you chose us to be the parents for your child.”
