The purpose of this group is to provide a space where LGBTQ+ parent(s) and prospective parents can support one another, learn from each other, and explore topics related to personal identity, parental identity, the joys and challenges of being an adoptive family, best practice sharing, and more! If you are looking to connect with other LGBTQ+ families or planning to grow your family through adoption, this group is the place for you!
Facilitator: Clara Hobson, LMSW – queer transracial adoptee. As a queer transracial adoptee, I have benefitted from knowing others who can identify with my lived experience. I look forward to facilitating a space where LGBTQ+ families can create a community of support.
