We are looking to adopt a child that we can help raise with much love. We met online in 2010, and we bonded over our love of cuisine. As we were getting to know each other, we ate at a new restaurant every week around New York. From very early on we talked about adoption, and we saw that as a possibility in our future. We live in Queens with our cat named Lil’ Poundcake. Anthony is from a big family. He grew up in a small town in Indiana, and both of us go back to visit every year. Kevin is from a smaller family in California who come to visit us every year. We both want to read to our child every night, take them to museums, and to see the world.

I was born in Los Angeles, but my mother made it a point to take me on trips to Guatemala when I was a child, so I could meet my extended family, learn about my Spanish heritage, and try authentic Mayan-made tortillas.
Our Lives
During summer nights we love going on picnics in Astoria Park with friends, host pie-making parties, and brunch every Sunday. When it’s cold, we stay indoors and cook dinner together, cuddle up with our cat, and watch movies. We love exploring the city and trying new things such as booking cooking classes of food we’ve never made before. We are huge fans of Broadway, so we try to see a show whenever we can. Anthony has a growing vinyl collection, and Kevin collects video games.
We take two trips each year, one trip to an American city, and another abroad.
Our Family
Kevin – My family emigrated from Guatemala. I was raised an only child by my mother, aunt, uncle, and grandmother. My aunt had a daughter whom I consider to be my little sister. I learned from them that raising a child is a job for a group of people who have nothing but love to give.
Anthony – I grew up the second oldest of six kids, many of whom have their own children now. I love spending time with them when I visit. Even though they don’t live in New York City, I try to plan out our vacations to see the kids a few times a year.
