Life is good. I am a kind, generous, smart and witty woman who is very excited to start a family. I have a great job, a wonderful family and very supportive friends. I live on Long Island, NY with my mom and our 2 dogs (Angie and Lucy). I also have a fantastic boyfriend. During the warm months I spend time in my beautiful backyard that is filled with beautiful flowers, a heated pool and a large deck. I also live very close to the beach and enjoy walking on the boardwalk. I live very close to the Long Island Railroad (5-minute walk) and can visit NYC by train or by car. I have the best of both worlds!

I am very blessed to have a fantastic support system. I am so excited to welcome a baby via adoption. We all are!

Fun Fact
My childhood doll is named Joey and I still have him today. I used to bring him everywhere. Looking back as an adult, he sort of looks like Chucky – but he was my favorite doll/toy as a young child.

My Life

I teach at a University in NYC and I am also involved in helping undergraduate students while they are completing their research. I love mentoring students and helping them reach their potential. It brings me a lot of joy to help them move forward with their career in science. When I am not working, I enjoy yoga classes, going out to dinner with friends, cooking with my mom and visiting my family in the Bronx.

My boyfriend and I have a happy and healthy relationship. He has 2 children (11,13). Together we enjoy spending time with friends and family, going to the movies, going to the beach, and attending Yankees games.

My Family

I come from a very large Italian family! My grandmother and her 10 brothers and sisters moved from Harlem NY to the Bronx and all lived on the same block. I grew up with tons of cousins and we enjoyed eating macaroni together on Sundays and spent numerous holidays surrounded by lots of laughter and love. We still enjoy these same traditions today. We have a large family reunion every year at our family home at the Jersey Shore. We eat a lot of food, swim in the pool, sing, dance, laugh and have a lot of fun.

Tradition is very important to my family and me.  My mom continues traditional values with my nephews who come to visit. She enjoys teaching them how to make meatballs and sausage.  Every holiday we celebrate with family, but the most important is Christmas Eve and Christmas day. At home, we decorate with lots of lights and a big Christmas tree. During Christmas Eve we always go to my cousin Lauren’s house and she cooks 7 fishes. Many of my cousins are there from near and far. We eat, play games, and sing silly songs. Santa even comes to visit.
