As an interracial couple, we are open to parenting a child of any race. When they are not with us, they will spend time with their grandparents and cousins, who live nearby. We believe that it’s important for our child to know as much as they can about their background and birth family. For that reason, we welcome a relationship with birth parents through an open adoption. We have a loving home currently filled with our fur babies, Seven, a tan and white Chihuahua and Rory, a gray and white cat. We spend our free time enjoying our neighborhood and attending annual festivities put on by our towns holiday observer group, including fireworks on the lake or attending parades with our nieces in the center of town. The baby will grow up in a small town just outside New York City in New Jersey filled with young kids and cousins as well as close friends from all ethnic backgrounds who live nearby. In the warmer months we spend time as a family at the family house in the Catskills. We also enjoy traveling to Maryland and the West Coast to visit other members of our family. Family and education are very important to us. We have spent years planning to be parents and are excited to give a child all of the opportunities they will need to be happy and successful in life.

Our Lives

We bonded over our love for history and adventure. Thus, we enjoy traveling across the U.S. and around the world. We both enjoy reading, exercising and spending time outdoors hiking, walking, riding bikes and running when the weather is nice.

We met and had our first date in New York City in 2012. While on that date we realized that we shared many of the same interests including being family-oriented, love of travel and both wanted to become parents one day. We continued to date and formed a stable relationship with one another and moved in together. We were married on September 5, 2015, and held a ceremony in Weehawken, New Jersey surrounded by family and friends. We have been together for a total of seven years and have built a solid and loving relationship.

We are both family-oriented, caring and value stability.
