Christine Goffredo Pohl brings more than 10 years’ experience in the private and nonprofit sector to her role as Director of Development. Christine began her nonprofit career in communications and marketing at FairTrade USA in Oakland, California. In 2010, she moved to Central America to manage international development projects and volunteer brigades in Nicaragua and Honduras. Under her leadership, dozens of families in rural communities received homes, latrines, and access to health centers, and hundreds of volunteers participated in cultural immersion programs. In 2015, Christine returned to the US to manage marketing for Bridges to Community, an international development nonprofit. She later went on to direct fundraising for a nonprofit providing services to communities in India. Christine has also led marketing and communications strategies for two large dental practices in the New York metro area.
Christine joined the Spence-Chapin team in 2018 and is delighted to be able to apply her passion for fundraising and diverse professional experience to her position as Director of Development.
Christine received a Master of Arts from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Bachelor of Arts from the Burnett Honors College at the University of Central Florida.
