On May 4, 2017, Spence-Chapin will hold its Annual Gala at Current, an event space at Chelsea Piers. Support for Spence-Chapin’s Annual Gala furthers its mission and enables greater impact within the adoption community. With the support of the community at the Annual Gala, Spence-Chapin continues to focus on the guiding principle that every child deserves a family.
The Annual Gala will honor David A. Barrett, a partner at Boies Schiller Flexner LLP. David served on the Spence-Chapin Board from 2000-2016, including as vice-chair and head of the Legal Committee. He and his wife, Didi, adopted Annabel from Russia in 1992. Spence-Chapin is so grateful to David for his unwavering support, sixteen years of dedicated service on the Board of Directors, and his loyalty to the organization and the entire adoption community. Spence-Chapin would like to thank Supporting Sponsor, Boies Schiller Flexner LLP, for sustaining Spence-Chapin’s mission by helping to make this event possible.
The event will feature charity auctioneer CK Swett, who is returning to Spence-Chapin’s Gala for his second consecutive year.
